Our salon/spa/studio is located in the St.James area, at 204 Parkview Street just off Portage Avenue. It is on a major bus route, a short distance from Polo Park. It is located in a private area of our house, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We offer a wide array of day spa, hair salon services with a unique touch of personalized client service.
We understand that your visit to a salon or spa is not simply about a hair cut or a facial, it is about the experience, individual attention and relaxation. So if you hate the assembly-line feeling of a salon with rows of chairs where you can't tune out the conversation at the next colour stall, Cleopatra is for you. We are a one-room operation where the services we provide are about you, and where your visit is more of an interaction rather than a transaction.
We know most of our customers on first name basis. You will be warmly greeted and offered a cup of coffee while waiting. Every effort is made to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Appointments are scheduled to minimize customer waiting time.

Bob Wenzel / hairstylist/esthetician
Bob has many years of experience and success in the hair and beauty industry. He grew up in the Czech Republic - a country of world-known spa towns. He is Red River College trained in beauty culture - hairstylist/aesthetician and has been an owner of a successful salon ever since. Throughout his career Bob completed many courses and seminars, and attended conferences and shows to learn new skills and techniques and to obtain up-to-date industry information.
He introduced and promoted many new services in Winnipeg - from pedicures, body massages, brazilian bikini waxing, body wraps, and most of the 'Day Spa' - an idea of relaxation and pampering for an entire day.
Today Bob provides a full range of hair, beauty, and spa services with the skill and experience of a seasoned stylist and aesthetician on one-on-one basis.
In his own words: 'We live a fast-paced life with not much time for ourselves, but we still want to be beautiful. Do not expect fast miracles from beauty products. They are only 50% of the miracle. The full miracle is to relax and get pampered by someone (not a machine). When you get pampered and feel relaxed, you feel beautiful. When you feel beautiful - YOU ARE!

Jana was born in the Czech Republic where she took her training in beauty culture. She found her new home in Winnipeg and co-founded Cleopatra House of Beauty. In an early age, she fell in love with photography and has devoted her life to the photographic art. She has been recognized both locally and internationally in photographic competitions. Her unique style, obvious passion for the natural environment and her exquisite attention to detail sets her images apart. Whether the photographs are landscapes or beautiful portraits, Jana's work is always distinctive.
